As a child of 6 years old, I got fascinated from airplanes as I observed military planes fly regularly over our family home. Since that age I have dedicated most of my free time and hobbies to aviation. My first education in aviation was to build aircraft models. Since I was isolated and not assisted, they were not airworthy and crashed at the first flight. Desperate I started again and again until I was able to understand by myself the laws of flight. Then I built a lot of radio controlled models. I engage myself in competitions to meet other fanatic pilots. Later with age 17, I could take flying lessons in a Piper Cub. I got my private pilot license but flew little because of lack of money. Only later at age 28 I was able to learn aerobatics and started a career as an aerobatic pilot. I was educated by and flew with fantastic swiss pilots like Eric Müller and Christian Schweizer. I flew many different types until I discovered the Sukhoi airplane in 1991. Since then it is my competition horse.
