The internetional championship of acrobatic flying will take place in United Arab Emyrates, Al Ain, 26-30 January.  This will serve as one more possibility for the world's best pilots to demonstrate their skills and the potential of their planes.  
The Al Ain competition will be different from the European and World championships organised by the International Aviation Federation (The Fédération Aéronautique Internationale) and the Grand Prix  with its new flight programme and flights' evaluation rules. The prize fund of $100 000 (a fund this big is the first in the history of acrobating flying championships) will not only appeal to the pilots, but also entertain the spectators.

This year 8 pilots participated in the Al Ain event.  After a tense competition Ramon Alonso was announcedthe winner, and he received the prize of $50000. This pilot is well known in his area, he was the absolute winner of  2007  FAI acrobatic flying championship.
